Dear friends of Gaia Storytelling. We are looking forward to seeing you soon again…
In the meantime, enjoy reading and watching the interview with Grace Ann and David and discover more on Antenarratives, Indigenous Ways of Knowing and “The Place” from which we can act in order to heal ourselves as humankind, as society, as Gaia.
Dear friends of Gaia.
Once again we like to invite you – leaders, professionals, citizens, craftsmen, workers, artists, artisans and students – to join us and walk the Storytelling For Gaia path with us. Thanks to technology, meeting over the distance is easier than ever before. This is the reason, why we would like to host a series of Webinars / or Online-Gatherings until traveling has transformed into something new and beautiful again.
Together with you we want to rediscover storytelling and rework leadership, organizing and business for the age of Gaia. Storytelling collects sustainability, community, leadership, technology, business and strategy into one.
The dates and topics for March and April are:
Tuesday 24th March / 9:00 p.m. CET (approx. 1 ½ hours): An introduction and getting to know each other – workshop. The theme has been changed due to the current events: 1) What kind of stories is the corona virus bringing about? 2) What do we do with these stories?
Tuesday 7th April / 9:00 p.m. CEST (approx. 1 ½ hours): True storytelling. Part One. Principles 1&2.
The seminar will focus on the method and the philosophy of True Storytelling. How do we create ownership to sustainable changes through True Storytelling (Boje, Larsen, Bruun)? To prepare for the seminar, you might want to reflect on a personal project or challenge where you need to create ownership to sustainable change. Plus, please bring an object/artefact with you into the zoom-call, something which connects you to Gaia. We are very much looking forward to seeing you.
Tuesday 14th April / 9:00 p.m. CEST (approx. 1 ½ hours): True storytelling. Part Two. Principles 3
We plan to bring you in contact with True Storytelling principle 3 (“must have a plot” or “find the direction / path to future for your own project”): The Session is about what Roland Barthes calls, the double energy of ‘Studium‘ and ‘Puntum‘. Studium here means the general story of the plot of your project path. Puntum for Barthes means “that accident within a photograph — ‘that accident which pricks, bruises me'” or in our terms ‘jumps out at the viewer of your narrative plot.’
Just follow this Link – for questions or other remarks do not hesitate to ask anytime!
Tuesday 21st April / 9:00 p.m. CEST (approx. 1 ½ hours): True storytelling. Part Three. Principles 4&5.
It is by the time to move on to principle 5 and help each of our own story (as well as our greater story) along. This we will do tomorrow – on Tuesday, April 21st, (1PM Mountain time – 9PM CEST time)

We are very much looking forward to continue to learn the next principles of True Storytelling ethics with all of you. In order to let us all act now, on behalf of a better future.
Tuesday 28th April / 9:00 p.m. CEST (approx. 1 ½ hours): True storytelling. Part Four. Principle 6.
Tuesday 5th May / 9:00 p.m. CSET (approx. 1 ½ hours): True storytelling. Part Five. Principle 7.
Sending all the best,
Anete, David, Duncan, Jens, Julia and Kenneth
